Not graphing traffic + errors/discards on a Cisco Catalyst

Post by sonrisaetrusca »

Hi all

I've setup a fresh Cacti 0.8.7 install. Local machine stats work perfectly but after adding a cisco catalyst 6500 device to test it, it does not graph any interface (traffic or errors).

When adding graphs to this device, cacti shows a error at the data query [SNMP- Interface Statistics] section:

Error in data query.
Notice: Undefined variable: column_counter in /srv/www/htdocs/cacti/graphs_new.php on line 887

I have also imported 6500 catalyst template, but no effect.

Any hint? Thanks in advance.

What cacti version?
You install the plugin architecture ?

Follow http://docs.cacti.net/manual:087:4_help ... #debugging for graph troubleshooting.

Thanks for the reply. All works fine. When I imported Cisco 4500 an 6500 templates, they override the settings of snmp-interface data query, so i lost the path-to-cacti. Once I set this path everything worked fine.

There was a bug in 087d related to this. Fixed in 087e. Do you run this version already?
