View graph without need to authenticate

Post by weerok »

Hello!

How is posible to make that the graphs would be available without authorization (login and password).

For example:
page

Code: Select all

http://srv/cacti/graph.php?action=view&rra_id=all&local_graph_id=249
image

Code: Select all

http://srv/cacti/graph_image.php?action=view&local_graph_id=249&rra_id=5

I've tried with username GUEST enabled , but anyway cacti asked to authenticate to view images.

Thnx in advice!

By default, the Guest account has permissions to view graphs w/o authentication. Just set the default page for your cacti site to graph_view.php (instead of index.php). If you disabled the account, or mucked with other graph/tree/etc permission settings then it's up to you to fix.

you re right, I checked all settings one more time and fixed GUEST rights (I forgot to verify Settings/Authentication)

One more question:
How to set the default page for cacti site to graph_view.php (instead of index.php)

I only find how to change Default Graph Tree

That's correct, you can only set a default tree. if you wan to to restrict things, then either set up a custom tree for them and/or set graph/tree permissions.
