I wrote a perl script to monitor the available bandwidth to and from remote hosts. Works perfectly for site A but for site B, it is sporadic. Always plots a value for the 'To' direction but misses values for the 'From' direction about half the time. Very annoying. I rewrote the script in php but it has the same problem.
Both 'To' and 'From' values are recorded in the log correctly but an rrddump shows the missing values are NaN.
How can the value be logged correctly but not make it to the rrd file? What might I do to correct this?
Thanks.

Re: Script Problems
please post the relevant sections of the cacti.log from debug mode showing the script being executed, data returned, data mapped and lastly rrdtool update command.junkmail wrote:How can the value be logged correctly but not make it to the rrd file? What might I do to correct this?
