"data query returned 0 rows" after upgrade to 087e

Post by RonaldPost »

I recently performed an upgrade from 0.8.6h to 0.8.7e. All seems to be fine (polling and graphing works fine), until I try to create graphs for a host.

After creating a new host or editing an existing one, I click on "Create graphs for this host". Instead of the interface list I now get the following error in the "Data Query" box:

Code: Select all

This data query returned 0 rows, perhaps there was a problem executing this data query. You can run this data query in debug mode to get more information.
When I click on "run this query in debug mode" I get:

Code: Select all

+ Running data query [1].
+ Found type = '3' [snmp query].
+ Found data query XML file at '/var/www/html/cacti-0.8.7e/resource/snmp_queries/interface.xml'
+ XML file parsed ok.
+ Executing SNMP walk for list of indexes @ '.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1'
+ Index found at OID: '.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1.1' value: '1'
+ Index found at OID: '.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1.2' value: '2'
+ Index found at OID: '.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1.3' value: '3'
.
.
.
+ Index found at OID: '.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1.21' value: '21'
+ Located input field 'ifIndex' [walk]
+ Executing SNMP walk for data @ '.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1'
+ Found item [ifIndex='1'] index: 1 [from value]

+ Found data query XML file at '/var/www/html/cacti-0.8.7e/resource/snmp_queries/interface.xml'
+ Found data query XML file at '/var/www/html/cacti-0.8.7e/resource/snmp_queries/interface.xml'
+ Found data query XML file at '/var/www/html/cacti-0.8.7e/resource/snmp_queries/interface.xml'
For me this shows that fetching the interface list works OK.

If I click on the green circle at the graph creation screen, I get:

Code: Select all

Any tips/pointers on how to solve or debug this are highly appreciated.
