plugin info switch\router ports description

Hi.
i think what many people have switch and routers and must write documentation for network. For example many engineer need write documentation for port connected. (1 port ISA 2 port SQL and etc)
Maybe anyone create plugin for cacti?

I think what plugin must work :
1. in plugin add device or import from main device page
2. scan switch\router for ports.
3. scan switch\router for up/down port
4. scan switch\router for description on interface.
5. create map with used light port what up and it description and for down port too
6. User add description for port (description can update on device or not)
7. user can search from description

i dont know what section on cacti forum better write post.

I believe most of that can be done in Weathermap.

Check out cjlove72's map in http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t=24433&start=30. I think that's a good example of what could be done.
