How do I create a graph where I can group server farms?

Post by cacti_cero »

I am trying to group server farms into a single graph to monitor total bandwidth but I am not able to find enough documentation on the process.

Goal sample of grouping:

server 1
server 2
server 3
server 4
Total bandwidth usage of all servers above (on single graph)

Any help will be greatly appreciate it.
Thanks

Add up total:

Post by cacti_cero »

ok I figured out how to create the graphs with multiple servers on a single graph - Thanks

The issue I have now is that I can't figure out how to add up the:
Total - Out (image below)
Total - In

I am confused as to what DATA SOURCE I should select for this graph item. Here are the settings I have:

Data source: ?
Color: 00BD27
Opacity: 100%
Graph item type: LINE1
CF: Average
CDEF Function: Total All Data Sources, Bytes into Bits
Value: (Left empty)
GPrint type: Normal
Text Format: Total - Out
Insert Hard Return: Not checked

This option is holding me back, please help!!!
