Monitor NTFS Junction Points

Post by ne0trace »

Hello,

I wasn't lucky with the search function so I'd like to ask if any of you guys know how to monitor a NTFS junction point on Windows Server 2003. I am monitoring all my drives but I mounted a RAID into another drive to expand it's space and since then I cannot see the available free space.

Does anyone know how to handle a NTFS junction point with cacti?

If they show up in SNMP, cacti can easily handle them. Otherwise, you'll need to write a custom script to spit out the data for cacti. Details on how that's accomplished are in the documentation site.
