Average in graph - not match when failure

Post by tata_tulen »

Hello,

I've template with the availability check returning 0/1 value (not avail/avail). In the graph I've the average item and I've just notice it don't work good if the failure of cacti connection occures (see attached graph).

How to get the value that counts failures as not avail (in this case it should be about 80%).

Moreover - is there any way to graph the average value - i've select the 'Average' Consolidation Function in thte graph template and cacti graphs the last one... :(

Thanks,

This would likely be best served at the RRDtool forum. However, please post your findings here for the benefit of the community.

That's the difference of "NaN" and "0". NaN is not taken into account on AVERAGEing
