Graphic Input / 100

Post by georgeb »

This sounds so pathetically easy that I am embarrassed to ask but I don't live in Cacti configs all day so here goes:

I have a device that returns CPU utilization by SNMP in hundredths of percent. In other words, 1% utilization is reported with a value of 100, 10% as 1000, etc. I created an SNMP query that pulls the data and am graphing it but I would like for it to display from 0-100 rather than 0-10000 which isn't exactly intuitive for the people who are looking at the graph besides me.

Any pointing in the correct direction would be most appreciated.

Create and apply a CDEF to the graph line.

Code: Select all

cdef=CURRENT_DATA_SOURCE,100,/

Yeah, I figured I needed to do that, but when I create the graph items with in the graph template, it gives me 9 CDEFs to choose from and no option to specify my own. Just need to know where exactly I create that CDEF.
