We have a Cacti box with three years' worth of data running 32-bit Linux. We have built a new Cacti box on 64-bit BSD, and it is working fine. We now want to import the data from the old box into the new box.
Problems are as follows:
1. Different architectures. In looking through the forums, we see that there are issues when moving from one architecture to another.
2. We named the RRD databases differently in the new box.
It appears that we can get around issue (1). Issue (2), however, may be a "no go".
Is there a way to get this done without spending days in the process? If so, how?
Thanks in advance.
Moving from 32-bit Linux to 64-bit BSD

Do a rrdtool dump/import when changing architecture.sargon wrote:We have a Cacti box with three years' worth of data running 32-bit Linux. We have built a new Cacti box on 64-bit BSD, and it is working fine. We now want to import the data from the old box into the new box.

This is officially not supported. Nevertheless, the file names of rrd files are listed in a single table only: data_template_data. When changing that table (on your own risk), do not forget to rebuild_poller_cache.php afterwards2. We named the RRD databases differently in the new box.
