Hi there ,
and excuse my english ....
I wrote several perl scripts , who check same datas in DB2/UDB databases with SQL querys , I create input data methodes and i declare input filds like : <host> <databaseb> <port_num> <user> <password> for the input fields ...
All is running and Ok but
When I create devices/graphs , I must enter this agruments for evry data source i have ( 10 graphs to create ) ,
Is it possible to enter this input field just one time when i create the Device or graphs ?
I installed Cacti 0.8.7b on Debian 5
Thank's

This has always bugged me...
Please put in a feature request, but note that there should be an option to "group" graph creation.

This is where the concept of a Meta plugin would come in handy. I was also thinking of adding a new "System" level Data Input method for Databases leveraging ADODB. I believe their is currently a Cacti hack for doing this, but it would be nice to formalize it.
Have to give it some thought.
