Which data source type for time ticks?
Does anyone know?
1) read the rrdtool manual.
2) a time tick isn't a numerical value that can be represented over time. you need to convert it to something which rrdtool can handle -- seconds would work.

... and the same answer applies to you too. Figure out how to convert it using a script. I suggest looking on Google.
