Hi,

Do the zip files contain the xml files to be placed in cacti/resources/snmp_queries? The f5_ltm_pool.xml file is the one to be imported into cacti to get the data query, but the xml file to be pushed into the directory is missing.

Anyone got it?

It is the other way around. f5_ltm_pool.xml and f5_ltm_pool_mem.xml are the files that get put in the resource directory. The other files are the ones that get imported.

If you edit the f5_ltm_pool.xml from the zip file you will find that there is not any single OID definition, OID index etc and a XML file that is to get put in the "snmp_queries" directory must have all those things somewhere.

If you dont import the "f5_ltm_pool.xml" you will not get the Data Query template added to cacti. If you import the file you will get that data query, and if you click on it it will say that it needs an XML file named "f5_ltm_pool.xml". I think that giving the same name to the "Data Query" template and to the XML file to be put in the directory has led to this error.

I hope you will find the error..

You are correct. Some file names got mixed up and the two resource files got accidently left out. I added the correct files.

I can't explain it either. I have been unable to get rra files also. I was hoping someone here might be able to help with that

Hi,

I am also looking for pool member stats and i have the same problem -> no rrd files created for the pool member graphs.

So i looked at the "f5_ltm_pool_mem.xml" file and i found that at line 5, it was "PoolIndex" (like on the file for pool stats) and not "PoolMemIndex".

After replacing this, the graphs are OK.

Thank you for the templates and i hope this will help you.

I did what you suggested above and I am still not having any luck. After you modified the f5_ltm_pool_mem.xml file, did you remove the graphs and re-create them?

If editing that file is the solution, shouldn't the down-loadable files be updated as well?

Thank you mvil! That did end up fixing the problem. I knew it was something stupid like that.

I will be updating the files shortly.

I did notice that when I create the graphs for my LTM it shows a "create from data query" that doesn't have values for the index values etc.

Is this normal?

Did you copy the f5_ltm_pool_mem.xml file in to your SNMP resource directory (usually <cacti_path>/resource/snmp_queries/)?

Yes, I did. That is the file that I modified as per the directions a few posts up. It still does not create the RRD files for any of the member related items.

EDIT
Perhaps I should just remove them all and wait for your updated files?
