HOWTO? Migrate installation to another server

I have an existing cacti box running 8.6.i. I want to migrate cacti to a healthier server.

I have Ubuntu 9.04 running on the new server. Does anybody have suggestions on how I can get the newest version of cacti running on my new server, and import all of my devices/template etc into the new server?

Follow half of the cacti upgrade guide -- just the backup portions.
