cacti poller device timeout error

i recently moved cacti to another server ….the mysql database was successfully imported and expoted to the newly installed server.
The rra folder as also been copied and I can view the graph histories
My problem is that when I run php5 poller.php I get a timeout error on all the devices being polled about 150 different routers, no new graphs are being generated ……any ideas on how to go about this will be much appreciated .
And yes the server was running well with all the services up until after the database import

Do you use cmd.php or spine? Which version?

I'm soprry, but I can't support that cacti version any mre. If I knew the solution, I'd surely tell you. Please upgrade
