Error with imported graph

Post by steven43126 »

Hi,

I imported a graph i found on the forums for monitoring tomcat JVM stats.

It doesn't seem to work and looking at the debug i get the following error...

/local/rrdtool/bin/rrdtool graph - \
--imgformat=PNG \
--start=-86400 \
--end=-300 \
--title="wap-sg-1 - JVM GC Stats" \
--base=1000 \
--height=120 \
--width=500 \
--alt-autoscale-max \
--lower-limit=0 \
--vertical-label="" \
--slope-mode \
--font TITLE:8: \
--font AXIS:8: \
--font LEGEND:8: \
--font UNIT:8: \
LINE1:#FF0000FF:"GC Count" \
GPRINT::LAST:"Current\:%8.2lf %s" \
GPRINT::AVERAGE:"Average\:%8.2lf %s" \
GPRINT::MAX:"Maximum\:%8.2lf %s\n" \
LINE1:#0000FFFF:"GC Time" \
GPRINT::LAST:" Current\:%8.2lf %s" \
GPRINT::AVERAGE:"Average\:%8.2lf %s" \
GPRINT::MAX:"Maximum\:%8.2lf %s\n"

RRDTool Says:

ERROR: parameter '#FF0000FF' does not represent a number in line LINE1:#FF0000FF:GC Count

Any Ideas ?

Cheers

Go into that graph template, select the item for LINE1:#FF0000FF:"GC Count", click save. Some graph templates get 'broken' and re-saving each item (yes a pain), can fix it...

A DEF statement is missing. That happens, if the LINEx item is not related to any data source item.
