This isn't my map, but I love how the Greek Research and Technology Network did their Multicast Network Weathermap:
http://netmon.grnet.gr/multicast-map.shtml
I'm particularly interested in the OVERLIBGRAPH they did on the routers.
It looks like they are scraping the "show ip igmp group" and "show ip msdp summary" or "show ip msdp sa-cache" (depending on the device) and displaying this information.
I'm curious if they are executing a script that is writing this info to a file, and then the OVERLIBGRAPH links to a ds text file where this information is scraped?

From looking at the html source code I was pretty sure it was not from this "Network Weathermap" and their site confirms it http://netmon.grnet.gr/weathermap/ they are using a perl version.
That being said I have been thinking about doing something similar by firing off RANCID's clogin with cron or a script in cacti.

Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)
