snmp fileds list is empty after adding new device with CLI

Post by Avi »

we are trying to build cacti graphs automatically by using the CLI.

but we have found that after we add device using add_device.php script.
we can't get the list of snmp fields and due tio this we are having difficulties to add graphs.
for example we run "add_graphs.php --host-id=114 --graph-type=ds --graph-template-id=1 --snmp-query-id=1 --snmp-query-type-id=1 --snmp-field=ifDescr --snmp-value=eth0"

we get an error that says unknown snmp-field="ifDescr".

we thought that using poller scripts will do the trick but it didn't.
can you help us with this?

Thanks, Avi

Please add a bug report as given by http://www.cacti.net/bugs.php. Please don't forget to specify your cacti version (in other words: please make sure to use the latest before posting  )
