Remove everything in the page except for DELETEME and we'll purge it.

Alright, will do. I assume you'll search for the uploaded files associated to that namespace and remove them too?

I notice the tags are case sensitive. Any way to make the datacloud ignore case?

If there is a file attached, leave the link there with DELETEME beside it.

In the 'Edit Summary', ensure you put in DELETEME as well, as it will make it easier to find.

Yup. Done.
You just made the data cloud display all in lower case -- it still didn't fix the duplicate issues for different cased keywords. For example CPU or Cisco, there are multiple. I guess one just needs to make a policy that keywords are only lower case to compensate?

Ah. Too early in the morning. For now, best if keywords are all lowercase.

Sorry, my fault. I was mass-changing things and may have messed up ...
In fact, I just downloaded it, and it does say 0.9 in the README, but 0.8 in the code, and it's not a version of code I ever released as far as I can tell. So please also take my name off...
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

I suppose this is because the Template repository hasnt been opened to create users.

Will I be able to update another users templates in the repo or would I just create another similar named template?

usertemplate and userplugin are open to all users.

template and plugin are only open to developers.

I'll remove superlinks from the supported area, and move it to userplugin, then, anyone can edit it.

Might be worth adding a field for plugins to show whether they're PA 1.x or 2.x...

Added 'pia_version:' to template. Added it to a couple of pages, will eventually get to all of them....

AIX Host Template

Post by Throbulator »

lg:

I'm hoping that there are not multiple conflicting definitions of the term "template" in the context of cacti.

At http://docs.cacti.net/templates, there are sections for "Official Host Templates" and "Contributed Host Templates".

Is anyone taking point on getting something added? I'm particularly interested in getting something usable for AIX set up.
