problem with SNMP - Generic OID Template

Post by espaniol »

hello

I've installed cacti on a PC Debian 5 Linux and it works very fine with the standard Graph ( CPU, Mem etc... ).

Now I would like to graph the users.

This is the output of snmpwalk:

Code: Select all

snmpwalk -v 2c -c public 10.1.118.170 1.3.6.1.4.1.4331.2.1.3.0
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.4331.2.1.3.0 = INTEGER: 110

Then I followed the tutorial "Graph a Single SNMP OID" from the Cacti's manual, I have the graph, but it is empty

Can someone help me?

Thanks in advance

Well, the problem is that the new files in /var/lib/cacti/rra had root permission and cacti with www-data permission didn't can change it. The cacti crontab runs witch root permission.

Now cacti works properly
