Plugin Architecture 2.4 on Cacti 0.8.7.d - no plugins

Post by nerdi »

Installed the Plugin Management v2.4 on a working 0.8.7.d install running on Centos 5.2. Get as far as seeing the Plugin Management page, but can't seem to get any plugins to show up. I've edited include/global.php adding
$plugins[] = 'clog';
$plugins[] = 'aggregate-070B2';
for example. Still nada. Any suggestions?

I've got the same thing happening. Installed Plugin Architecture 2.4 (pre-patched files) into 0.8.7d (which had been upgraded from 0.8.7b). Had even re-imported pa.sql (after dropping the relevant tables of course).

Anyone have an idea of where to start looking to diagnose this? I've checked the cacti and apache logs (cacti logging is turned up to just short of full debugging) and so far I can't find anything. :(

Ok, I solved this on my box. Was a permissions issue in <path_to_cacti>/plugins/ - specifically, did a 'chmod -R 755' on everything in <path_to_cacti>/plugins/

Ah good idea. Also worked to change the group to apache
chgrp apache [catic path]plugins/
