Has anyone successfully gotten speedfan 4.36 or 4.37 to work correctly with sfsnmp 0.1.0?

I can't get the counters to update, they show the same values all the time. Only a restart of the SNMP service updates the values.

Looks like speedfan changed the way it reports the data and sfsnmp needs to be updated...

--Changelog--
2.0: Re-wrote scripts. Ditched Script Server and now pure SNMP Data Queries. If upgrading, delete *ALL* existing Speedfan Data input methods, Data templates, and Graph templates as they all have changed. Keep any custom graph templates you've created for your systems for Speedfan. Exported with Cacti 0.8.7d.

BSOD if I do an snmp walk on .1.3.6.1.4.1.16 I get blank response. Also after adding my graph i get null response:

Data Query [SpeedFan - Fan] Reload Associated Query
This data query returned 0 rows, perhaps there was a problem executing this data query. You can run this data query in debug mode to get more information.

Do I need to restart my box after installing sfsnmp-0.1.0 ?
Or are there any custom settings to configure on speedfan alone ?

IIRC, I had to restart my net-snmp service to get it working.

Then sfsnmp isn't properly installed. try reinstalling it, restarting the snmp service, etc. If you STILL don't get anything from that snmpwalk, then you'll need to troubleshoot with the sfsnmp author.

Nope. The sfsnmp have very little instructions, configurability or help -- it lacks a LOT. I've only gotten sfsnmp working on XP -- doesn't appear to work on Windows 2003 either. Only thing I can suggest is email its author for support. Otherwise, since it's open source, you could try digging into his code...

Can i use this on Ubuntu?

SFSNMP is a WINDOWS addon. There are several other linux temperature monitoring programs -- and scripts/templates on this forum for it.
