Thold/Settings not showing up under Realm Permissions
Hello! Forgive me if this has been answered but....
I have 0.8.7b, with PA2.1 installed, other plugins working... Superlinks, weathermap, flowviewer, etc....
I can't get Thold or Settings to show up under Realm Permissions.
Folder has been moved to the /cacti/plugins folder with perms set as the other working plugins.
global.php includes -->
$plugins = array();
$plugins[] = 'superlinks';
$plugins[] = 'settings';
$plugins[] = 'weathermap';
$plugins[] = 'flowview';
$plugins[] = 'thold';
I am sure someone has run into this at this point, but a search didn't reveal a solution.
Any help is greatly appreciated!!
Thanks in advance..

thold...
I am also having the same trouble with the same version of each. I cannot see the thold tab and I also do not see anything in realm permissions for thold. It worked before trying to upgrade to thold 0.4.1. I had 0.3.9 running fine before.
Please Help!

Thold 0.4.1 shouldn't be in the plugins[] list. You need to install it by using the new Plugin Management screen.
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

Plugin Management
Am I missing the part where I am supposed to import the pa.sql file into my database? I am not sure how to do that. I really do not want to mess anything that i currently have up either. Any guidance?

Plugin Management
OK, as I keep digging into this, I have found the plugin architecture file and tried to use it. The trouble is that I cannot find the Plugin Architecture file for 0.8.7b. I am running (b) so I would think I would need that and not (d)...
I too have this same problem, and I am quite confused as to what the new plugin management screen is. I've got the plugin 'monitor' working for the most part, but I do not have a special tab for the 'thold' plugin.Howie wrote:Thold 0.4.1 shouldn't be in the plugins[] list. Can someone clarify please? :'(
AARRGGH!
After a long while of pounding my head against this I found out that Plugin Architecure Manager was not showing up because I didn't import the mysql file pa.sql to the cacti.sql database. After doing so, plugin management came up and (without altering the global.php file manually) I was able to install and enable thold through the plugin management page.
Although, I did have to use the old way of installing plugins (altering the global.php file) to install monitor, settings, and mactrack.

I'm having issues with this.
Where exactly is the "Plugin Architecure Manager" supposed to show up? I'm attempting to get thold installed, but am having no luck. I've completely gutted/reinstalled cacti, and then used the plugin arch patch (Tried files previously, same result) against the files, and have had no luck. Have done everything by the book including importing the SQL.
If I use the "Old" style way of installing plugins to install the plugin "settings" - They appear as "Mail / DNS" under the Settings section as they should.
I'm lost

Found answer in another thread:
That solved it. I didn't see that anywhere in teh docs, either it's not in there, or I'm retarded. I'll go with the latter for now.Howie wrote:And if you go to User Admin.. and pick the admin user, do you have a new 'right' in there called something like 'manage plugins'?marianne.dherens wrote:thanks for the command, I applied it and I got no error message. However still no plugin management link...
