Hello

I need to calculate transmission bit error ratio - the number of erroneous bits received divided by the total number of bits transmitted.

I can get total number of bits transmitted from total in and total out values of traffic from graphs with 'Interface - Traffic (bites/sec, Total Bandwidth)' template.

But how can I get the number of erroneous bits received? What template should I use? 'Interface - Errors/Discards' contains errors/sec measure.

You will have to create a graphs that combines both basic data sources. Then, you'll have to create a CDEF that does the required calculation

Hi, I want the same graph. I know about CDEFs. But I would like to show in the graph only the resulting calculations (error in + error out) / (traffic in + traffic out), i.e. I dont want to show error and traffic data, only the result. Is it possible do that without a helper custom script?
