[SOLVED] Mac Track run out none Port name

I am running cacti 0.8.7b and mactrack v 1.1 on windows 2003 box,I add 1 Switch zyxel ES-2024A,USE get_generic_switch_ports on device type ,run after 1 hr show out as attchment file
on Port Name show n/a


Please Help me fix it

You need something at that site with an ARP table.

I HAVE A ROUTER (QNO QVM-1000) ADD MY SITE,ELSE I HAVE A D-LINK DES-1226G.
THEY CAN'T SHOW MAC AND PORT NAME

Well that is a problem. The only other way is to have a service that listens to all traffic and records IP's and MAC's as the traffic rolls in. The problem with this is that it's highly unreliable. You have that service issue hello packets to get everyone to speak up, but I won't write that. If the device has a way of giving up an ARP table, then I would go for that first. You realy need to have an snmp enabled router though.
