I made up some graph templates to monitor the Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) as well as Line Speed and Attenuation of my Billion router. I've tested this on a 7402VGP but the OIDs should be the same for all Billion routers. I've attached a host template which includes these three graph templates and the usual "SNMP - Interface Statistics" associated with it.
Screenshots are included below showing examples of these graphs, note that I included weekly graphs as the daily ones are pretty flat. Let me know if you have any questions!

Updated Template
Tim's template does not generate any data to SNR/Attenuation/Line speed on my 7404. However, the correct OID numbers were fairly easy to spot in snmpwalk, so please find attached an updated template

OIDs have changed
Hi All,
The OIDs for obtaining these values seems to have changed in a recent firmware update (I'm now running 5.53 on my 7402) and the old template will give you a "WARNING: Result from SNMP not valid. Partial Result" message in the log file. If you start getting this message it is very simple to fix, just navigate to the data templates page and click on the first Billion data template (Billion - Downstream Attenuation). Decrement the last digit of the OID by one from 4 to 3, making it now equal to .1.3.6.1.2.1.10.94.1.1.2.1.5.3 then click save.
Repeat this for each of the data templates, decrement each one by one and all your graphs should be working again.

Hehe Back a few months later to say once again thank you! about 4 months after having my graphs working perfect.. my Hard drive died.. My Girlfriend came along, and I hadn't been able to get things running until now seeing as I have the free time from now and then

can't get it to work
I have a Billion 7404-VGO-M modem and I can't get this to work. I am using Ubuntu and have installed Cacti and can confirm it appears to be working. I have successfully imported the template as instructed and the last digit also appears to already be '3' so I have not touched it. I just get the error that no SNMP data could be returned and extracted this from the debugging log. I am new to Cacti.

guys what I would really love to do is get the error rates graphed in cacti.
I have already looked at the snmpd treewalk and sadly snmpd is not monitoring it.
Meaning to get the errors I would have to.
telnet into router.
port a1 show.
grep the output to look for crc error line.
send the numeric value to cacti to graph.
This is beyond my skills I think, is it even going to be possible?
(a) the billion has no grep command so basically the full output from port a1 show would have to go back to the linux box hosting cacti and then grep is ran on it.
(b) the linux box would have to login to router on telnet, then issue command on router, then send output back to itself (somehow) before processing data.
or perhaps is possible to somehow make the snmpd provide the error values? I dont know if snmpd configuration is read only or not.
It is kick ass the billions can be graphed in cacti but seems a job half done by the billion devs in that you cant get all stats over snmpd.
