Am currently trying to get same results with Cacti as I have with MRTG for HPUX CPU stats. Requires combining OIDS - the MRTG format I use is:
Target[HOSTNAME_CPU_0]: .1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.3.1.1.15.0&.1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.3.1.1.13.0:COMMUNITY_STRING@HOSTNAME + .1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.3.1.1.16.0&.1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.3.1.1.14.0:COMMUNITY_STRING@HOSTNAME
or 'OID1&OID2 + OID3&OID4'
which produces results like shown on the attached.
What is the format or syntax I should be using with Cacti?
how to combine OIDs (HPUX CPU)

Use a combination of stack and area. Create the first oid as a area, then the second as a stack. I'm not sure if you can stack on a line, I think it only works with area, so it's not quite like cacti. The stack and area is the Graph Item Type. What you do is this:
Create 4DS, 1 for each oid
Create a graph that has all 4 DS
Make the 1st DS an area
the 2nd a stack
Both 1 color
Then the 3rd an area, 4th stack, both a differant color.

Graphs
Alright, I got the graphs kinda working with HPUX. I was able to create them using an Area, and Stack, and get them to graph correctly, but I am not able to get the Legend to work correctly. I want to have a legend with The Perc entages in Text of the Combined values of Idle/Nice, but I can't figure out how to do that, because a GPRINT can only be used on a single datasource. Any ideas?
