Wierd Integer result changes

Post by exklusve »

Hello,
I'm trying to get CFM for my APC air removal unit graphed.

Doing an snmpwalk i get this info.

Code: Select all

netmon snmp # snmpwalk -v 1 -c public 172.16.240.201 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.14.4.1.1.7
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.318.1.1.14.4.1.1.7.1.1 = INTEGER: 1566
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.318.1.1.14.4.1.1.7.1.2 = INTEGER: 1557
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.318.1.1.14.4.1.1.7.1.3 = INTEGER: 1555
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.318.1.1.14.4.1.1.7.1.4 = INTEGER: 1574
When running snmpwalk on the full OID of the first OID above i get this.

Code: Select all

netmon snmp # snmpwalk -v 1 -c public 172.16.240.201 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.14.4.1.1.7.1.1
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.318.1.1.14.4.1.1.7.1.1 = INTEGER: 450
Anyone know why it would change like that? Very possible I'm doing something wrong, but I cant figure it out.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

It's an agent problem, maybe the fan is a variable speed one. Or maybe the sensor on the fan unit is damaged.

Fan's are working perfectly, and yes they are variable speed but only as variable as I set them.

Figured out a work around for the meantime.
