That is a common Cacti error and should be in a FAQ somewhere. .
The error "ERROR: opening '/var/lib/cacti/rrd/SOMEFILENAME.rrd': No such file or directory" means that Cacti never created the file "SOMEFILENAME.rrd", probably because the associated "Data Query" or "Data Input Method" is failing. You should check to see if the "Data Query" or "Data Input Method" is working--- you might need to execute a script or SNMP query from the commandline, for example.
This posting is almost 4 years old. It's entirely possible that these templates don't work with newer versions of Oracle, or they no longer work with newer versions of Cacti.
Anyone using these templates and scripts today?? with an Oracle 10g RAC by chance...more than one server running oracle? Some new templates would be nice but i'm looking to monitor tablespace primarily.
