The graph should include the IP address rather than the interface description. That would help distinguish between two ports on the same NIC.

It seems the rrd files cannot generated normally.

hmmm I have a weird issue. I'm watching stats on a mounted LUN, and every now and then the % read time bounces to 1300 or so. So now the vertical axis goes up to 1.5k%
Any idea how to fix that one?

This was the way I had the templates. I originally had them only reporting up to 100% usage, but this is not always true when disks are always getting hammered. So I changed them to show true percentages, but it does make the vertical axis go way up. Did you figure out how to make them work better for you? I have been away from here for a while, but I am still using these templates. I just moved to CactiEZ .6 and imported the templates and started going again.

I have actually gone back on what I mentioned in the previous post. I have changed to only show up to 100% usage on disks. The issue is that Windows will report unreliable disk % usage. You can verify by using perfmon.

copy all 5 snmp_informant_*.xml files to <cacti root>/resource/snmp_queries folder on your cacti box. Import all 5 cacti_data_query_snmp*.xml files within cacti console under import templates.

Solved by upgrading to 0.8.7d.

Now it is another issue....

may i know where will the imported file located?

can u provide a basic guide on how to use/create a template to pull data?I am interested in memory usage..coz linux memory usage template display wrong memory..

I like the look of the graph templates. I may have to borrow some of the ideas and port them to use WMI
