How do I install Thold?

Hey there,
I did a couple of steps which made me believe are the right way to install thold.

At first I installed the pluginarchitecture which seems to run fine, because the next plugin I installed (settings) seems to run fine also. But I seem to be unable to get thold to run.
I copied the thold folder to /usr/share/cacti/plugins/ and added him to the global.php. I later read that I should not do that but it didn't make any difference at all.
Oh before I forget... I also added the .sql file to the mysql database.

No tab shows up and no setting seems to control the plugin so far.

Do I have to use the config.php instead?

Cacti is version 0.8.7d and the server runs ubuntu 8.04 LTS

What is the magic setting I seem to have forgotten?

In Cacti, click "Plugin Management". Locate the Threshold plugin, and then click "Install" followed by "Enable"

There is no need to make any entries for THOLD in global.php
