Cacti 0.8.7d Released
We are pleased to announce the release of Cacti 0.8.7d!
This release includes quite a few bug fixes that were reported in Cacti 0.8.7c.
- Fixed many syntax issues that were causing functionality problems
- Repaired issue that would cause MySQL to failure
- Resolved issues with ping on Mac OSX
- Fixed problems with structured rra path conversion script
Many of you maybe asking why a new release so close to 0.8.7c release.
We determined that the amount of fixed precluded us from creating
patches and a release was needed to make it easy on the community.

Re: Cacti 0.8.7d Released
This one is really worrying - it implies that someone checked in code without even running it once...rony wrote: - Fixed many syntax issues that were causing functionality problems
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

It doesn't imply, is suggests that is true....Howie wrote:This one is really worrying - it implies that someone checked in code without even running it once...rony wrote: - Fixed many syntax issues that were causing functionality problems
I'm not happy with it, but to be honest, one of the issues was caused by me as well. A simple php syntax check did not find it, it was only exposed when attempting to use it... (I broke the cdef.php)

Ok, I'm getting errors in my apache log:
ERROR: Could not parse line 'GPRINT::AVERAGE:------>%8.2lf %s\n'
and some graphs are showing up as thumbnails but not when you click on the full graph.
Attached are screen shots.
I was having the same problem with 86b, and was never able to resolve it. It only happens on my temperature graphs for some reason.

I got the same. The error is in the new PIA - top_graph_header.php.
I did a compare with PIA 2.3 for this particular file, and they seem to be identical apart from some img src tags.
I ended up doing a swap of this file for the one in PIA 2.3, which seems to work fine.
I expect that this file will need to be replaced in the new 2.4 zip. Not sure if what I did breaks anything, but my install works fine.
Hope this is of some use.
