HELP 0.8.7c Clean install no CPU's and disks not read

Hi,

When i perform a clean install and add one or multiple hosts the poller does not get the CPU info:

Verbose query:

I'm using cmd.php for the time being. Using spine doesn't change a thing.

Do you use standard SNMP Ports? Your snmpwalk seems to do. But the cacti stuff was parametrized to use port 165 instead of 161. Was this done on purpose?

Yes i've changes the snmp port to 165 at some of my customers because because my provider doen;t accept 161 to be open.

It has worked fine in earlier cacti versions.
Since i've tried to upgrade the cpu and disk aren't read so i tried a clean install. And here the same.

Allso a host on port 161 is giving me the same results:

Please drop attached ss_host_cpu.php as such into the scripts folder. I had to rename it to .txt due to phpBB, so do not forget to remove that

But what if we take it one step back...

The earlier version of Cacti was working fine including thold and monitoring.

Why is this version nog working?

Could there be a difference between them that makes this hapen?

Ok i've installed wireshark on my sles10 machine and performed an snmpget:

I think the problem here is with the scripts, i.e. ss_host_cpu.php, and it happened between .8.7b and .8.7c

There's a change in the scripts that is creating massive snmp utility errors in those scripts. I'm seeing tons of the following when I run poller.php manually:

Invalid authentication protocol specified after -a flag: snmpv3password

Which tells me that either the protocol password OR the privacy password is getting shoved in the authentication protocol variable. this happens regardless of protocol setting.
