Red xs in my graphs

Post by flipturn »

I am getting no graphs at all. If I take the code and cut and past in a window with my cacti user id context a file is created.

And subsequently the rrd files are not updated. The poller looks like it is running and the Mysql install looks good too.

I have checked all of the php -m.

I am on Fedora 10, Cacti 0.8.7c, rrdtool 1.3

Here is the info that you requested.

The httpd error_log says it can't find the rrd files, that is because they were never created from within Cacti. If I take the debug script and cut and past one in it will create the rrd file but then after that I get Nans.

Do you run cmd.php from crontab instead of poller.php?

That's wrong and surely the reason for the failure. Use poller.php instead as documented

Poller settings.

Also:

My Poller Type is set for cmd.php and I don't have the option to set "poller.php" in my Cacti Settings.

That's no what I was referring to. Sorry for any inconvenience. I meant the crontab entry itself. It should read poller.php
