BUG: 8.7c Get Processor Information - 0 Rows for w2k3 svr

Post by syscev »

I am not sure this is already a known bug for 8.7c. Get Processor Information stopped working when I upgrade from 8.7b to 8.7c.

I have 2 linux fedora cacti servers one of the is still running 8.7b.

Below is the verbose query to the same windows server. Please advise if should provide more info.

cacti 8.7b

I tried using all the files that was updated 2 days ago. It does not solve the problem.

Then I thought I should update my spine poller to the latest 8.7c version but seems like the 'configure' file is broken in the latest tar.

Code: Select all

[root@xxxx cacti-spine-0.8.7c]# ./configure
./configure: line 3: syntax error near unexpected token `<<<'
./configure: line 3: `<<<<<<< .mine'

Code: Select all

#! /bin/sh
# Guess values for system-dependent variables and create Makefiles.
<<<<<<< .mine
# Generated by GNU Autoconf 2.59 for Spine Poller 0.8.7a.
=======
# Generated by GNU Autoconf 2.59 for Spine Poller 0.8.7c-beta2.

Just wondering, will the patches take a long time to develop ?

If yes. Are you able to provide some tips on how to safely revert 8.7c to 8.7b for the time being.

Ok so, far all looks good after the upgrade to 8.7d. Will monitor further.
