[CLOSED] No more graphs after a client reboot

Post by portgas »

Hi all,
I am new on cacti and get in charge of an existing configuration.

After a reboot of one windows 2k server, I am not able anymore to have graphs on cacti.
When I look on the Data Query Debug Information, I have this message:

My cacti version is 0.8.6j
+ Running data query [11].
+ Found type = '3' [snmp query].
+ Found data query XML file at '/www/htdocs/cacti/resource/snmp_queries/mgb_compaq_CPU.xml'
+ XML file parsed ok.
+ Executing SNMP walk for list of indexes @ '.1.3.6.1.4.1.232.11.2.3.1.1.1'
+ No SNMP data returned
+ Found data query XML file at '/www/htdocs/cacti/resource/snmp_queries/mgb_compaq_CPU.xml'
+ Found data query XML file at '/www/htdocs/cacti/resource/snmp_queries/mgb_compaq_CPU.xml'

I ran a snmpwalk request directly on my server with this OID (in bold), and I did not receive any data.
The same request works for other server.
The snmp service is up on the windows Server.
If I run this request "snmpwalk -v 1 -c private IP_adress
I got a lot of answers.

Is someone able to help me?

Regards

Please run
snmpwalk -v 1 -c private IP_adress .1.3.6.1.4.1.232.11.2.3.1.1.1
Only if this provides you with data, cacti will be able to graph

No data answered.
It seems that something does not work on the snmp agent on the windows server.
But I don't know where I should start to look for.

SNMP security setup may result in such a behaviour. See 1st link of my sig for some basic setup of SNMP. Not sure if this helps on windows
