text alignment of legend

Post by daksh »

Hi,
I am running Cacti 0.8.7b on opensuse 11

All seems to be working fine (except for some Windows hosts, which I am working on)...

I have attached an image of CPU utilization on one of my Linux hosts, and its legend is not alligned. I have set "CPU Idle time" as comment because this is a 4 CPU host and it displays "Idle time" as 400%, which makes user, system and IO-Wait difficult to read.

So is there a way I can display this legend in one proper alignment? (please see results.jpg)

Thanks

You should either enlarge the image (x-axis) or use a smaller font to fit the space where the legend sits

Graph Size:
Change the Graph Templates
Font Size:
this depends on the fonts you have installed. See docs how to apply fonts in general. Provide a font size of e.g. 8 as a start

I went to Settings -> Paths

For "RRDTool Default Font Path" I have:
/usr/share/fonts/truetype/DejaVuSerif.ttf

I have attached a screenshot for "Default RRDtool 1.2 Fonts" seen under Settings -> Visual.

What am I missing?

Change the Legend Font Size to 8. If I remember correctly, this will work only (with current cacti), when filling the font file name as well in this place.
