How do I install these xmls files
I have an install of 0.8.5a but I can't for some reason import xml files (I get no error). Can some one explain to me what files I need to copy and where to copy them so i can get this to work with my install. I would also need steps for any relvant GUI steps.
Thanks
Alan

Same qyuestion...
It didn't works...
The probleme is that no rrd file is written in the database, so, it's normal that no graph appears.
-make a new graph on my switch HP Procurve.
-select "SNMP(INDEXED) dot3starts (RFC1643)"
-check the eth0 on the switch that is ethernetCsmacd(6).
- hit Create
- If index, Of value and Output... -> do nothing
- re hit Create
- Go to the Graph section and....
2 graph are created (is it normal?)
Switch procurve traffic 1
Switche Procurve(|query_ifDescr|) - dot3Stats(RFC1643)
So i look the source of the second and it need "switche_procurve_alignmenterrors_47.rrd":AlignmentErrors" to appear.
BUT!!!! no record like this name is in the database !!!
Why?
(whitout this record, it's normal that nothing is done to make this .rrd)
I'va already have this probleme witch available disk space, but the solution is to be a little more inteligent ( i don't have chosen a partition...sorry)
Do i've forgotten to choose something?
Please help

RFC1643
I'm trying to get this working on a Pix 515E. However when I view Data Queries>>Associated Graph Templates I receive the following:
It's only happening with this script. Any help is appreciated.Warning: Variable passed to each() is not an array or object in /home/httpd/cacti/snmp.php on line 322
Creating the graphs using these templates for an HP Procurve
My HP Procurve Switch has:

IF-MIB::ifDescr.2 = STRING: 2
IF-MIB::ifDescr.3 = STRING: 3

IF-MIB::ifDescr.48 = STRING: 48
IF-MIB::ifDescr.99 = STRING: DEFAULT_VLAN
IF-MIB::ifDescr.4194 = STRING: HP ProCurve Switch software loopback interface
I imported the templates fine, and put the snmp query xml in the right place, but the new graphs I created have:
irt-sw-02(|query_ifDescr|) - dot3Stats(RFC1643)
for titles and no data.
Are these stats available from the HP switch?
How do I setup the graph for say interface 17?
type ethernetCsmacd(6)
Thanks!

Re: Ethernet Stats(RFC1643) - XML
I import only this three files. But now working. When I add SNMP(INDEXED) - dot3stats(RFC1643) to the Associated data queries and I want to create a graph about itk.c.o.r.e wrote:Hi,
Let's try this: extract the tarball and import the xml's.
data_template_rfc1643.xml
graph_template_rfc1643.xml
data_query_rfc1643.xml
Should work. Post a reply, if it's not working.
