FreeBSD 6.2 Cacti 0.8.6h Motorola BSR 2000

I have problem when generating graphs of the equipment Motorola BSR2000. The problem only occurs with BSR 2000, has BSR 1000 perfectly working.
In devices, the status is as "Down", but when click in the Device it is show:

Examining logs, i see:

Have you applied the 0.8.6j patches. If you are using PHP4, it is important that you do so.

I update for version 0.8,6j and worked perfectly, would not be convenient to report this problem in the cacti website ? Other people must be lost with this exactly problem.

Hi all,

sorry to revive an old thread, but it seems applicable.

I have the similar issue, with the same Motorola's BSR2000, my cacti is in 0.8.7b version. I was trying to apply old templates used with BSR1000 to get SNR, modem count, and similar stats. I managed to get some other information, like interface's status, bandwidth, and stuff like that, but I am not able to fit templates for SNR or modem count.

Is there anyone who wouldn't mind sharing theirs templates?

Or, at least, some quick pointers how to modify existing templates to fetch that information? I really don't have enough time to go through all the manuals and learn how to create cacti templates from the scratch

I've been trying to fix templates I found here, in forums (http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t=12328 or in the list of all templates). Those worked for BSR 1000, I guess, but won't work for me. I cannot find where to tweak them in order to get them working for my cacti. I can snmpwalk the whole CMTS, but cannot graph SNR or modem count.

OIDs might have changed. If you can name those who are useful to you, I'll point you to a walkthrough to use them

OIDs have changed indeed, and I have figured them out before.
Turns out I was also missing some data files or those were misplaced. Unfortunately, I forgot how I edited files, cuz I did that a lot but I have origigi files and can do diff and post back on Monday when I figure out what did I do

Also, that log warnings were big of a help. It would have been a b1tch to fix if there wasn't such a nice log facility built into cacti. Once I got into serious log reading everything started unwinding.

I will leave notifications on for this thread, so if someone in the future needs help - please ask here too. I will try to post complete how-to if I remember it correctly.

I have the exactly the same problem as yours. Everything works fine with bsr1000 but with bsr2000 i can't read snr. How did u solve this?

...unfortunately, I got caught up with work and never did what I promised, and by now I completely forgot what did I do.

However, here is the export of the Host Template for Motorola BSR; I've been using same templates for both BSR 1000 and BSR2000; if you have problems using these answer to the thread and I will export you graph and data templates as well. To use these, just copy everything and go to "import" in cacti.
