Total All Similar DS and Bytes to bits

Hi,

I have migrated CACTI from one server (A) to another (B)

Server A had CACTI 0.8.6h and Server B is currently running 0.8.7b.

All aggregated graphs that are migrated to server B do not show the correct values of Total All Similar DS and bytes to bits.
It seems like it is reading only one of the graph items instead of calculating the summary. The graph image shows the correct bandwidth usage, however not the correct values for on the LEGEND

No modifications were applied between Server A's configurations and Server B.
Server A is still working correctly

Please visit graph management and select the graph. Switch to DEBUg and post rrdtool graph output

The problem lies with the DEFs used. There are several AVERAGEs in there and then three different ones: MAX, MIN, LAST.
When aggregation the totals, this AGGREGATE is build based on a SPECIFIC consolidation level, either AVERAGE or MAX or MIN or LAST. That's why the graph is "wrong".
How did you create this aggreagte, please?

To create this graph I have created a new none-none graph and added all the items the first one as line and the others as stack for IN traffic and at the end added the CDEF for total DS and bytes to bits as described in a post that i read before on this forums. then I did the same for the OUT traffic.

This setup and this graph was working very well with my previous older CACTI but not anymore.

Changing the Average DEFs to LAST does not seem to change the situation either.

I so appreciate your assistance.

The old server is a 086* style? I was assuming that the DEFs of your last post look the way they do. In this case, I'm pretty sure that I recently added the required patch to 087c (currently available at SVN only, not yet packaged into a new beta).

There is still a difference in the output and the graph does not seem to be working

Hello again,

By creating the graph manually, the CDEF works for the Area graph item but not for the LEGEND, what am I doing wrong?

The problem is only with the GPRINT values and not the area.

How can that happen. The AREA that is using SIMILAR_DATA_SOURCES_NODUPS and bytes to bits is showing the correct values but the GPRINT values are not correct.
They correspond only one interface, the last interface added.

I appreciate any hints or help regarding this issue.

This was using the BETA1 or the BETA2 of cacti 087c?
In case the 2nd one was used, I'll need a mysqldump of your cacti database.

Actually It is a 0.8.7b not the C that I have added the aggregate to.

After adding the script http://svn.cacti.net/viewvc/cacti/branc ... 74&r2=4795
It worked fine.
Even though this 8.7b is not migrated. it was created from scratch yet it needed that script to run.

By the way Reinhard in case I forgot to mention earlier, YOU ROCK
