Monitor SQL Server -- possible?

Post by samjones3 »

Greetings!

I am looking to monitor SQL Server. For example:

-- # of queries / second (or per min)
-- query run time (peak, avg)
-- RAM used
-- CPU used by SQL

And a few others....

Doable with cacti?

Thanks!!!

If you can script it, Cacti can graph it. Take a look at the available WMI classes for SQL2000
Cacti Version 0.8.8b
Cacti OS Ubuntu LTS
RRDTool Version RRDTool 1.4.7
Poller Information
Type SPINE 0.8.8b

Also, search the script forum -- this has been asked and addressed.
