[Solved]How to monitor windows network interfaces?

Post by Yoni »

Hi all,

In the last 3 days I tried to build a Cacti system that will monitor my Windows based servers.

Do you might know for a good data query &\or graph templates that are monitoring Windows network interfaces?

How can I monitor Windows 2000 \ XP \ 2003 server network interfaces with Cacti?

Google didn't helped me much with it.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Well, it seems like the "New guy" found the solution by itself...

Its weird that I could not found the solution via Google... but lucky me, I found it by my self.

For monitor network traffic you should add to the device data query called: "SNMP - Interface Statistics " After that under the "create host..." you should check what network devices you want the data query to monitor & walla you've got the results.

Njoy.
