Boost Server Problem

It's likely that the service version is lacking some portion of the login environment. Redirect the output in the service startup file to a file and then take a look at the output.

Sorry, I'm not sure how to do that.... Fairly new to linux management!!

Think I've fixed it. The line to start the boost server in cacti_rrdsvc was incorrect. It was missing php at the beginning.

Boost Service

Hi,

i have the same problem with cactirrdsrv.

Boost is running, it updates rrds, but i can't connect via telnet

if i start boost_server.php manually, i can connect via telnet.

I am using Cacti 0.87b with CactiEZ

Any idea ??

I had to make line 23 of cacti_rrdsvc look like this:

/usr/bin/php $PROGPATH$PROG > /dev/null 2>&1 &
And it started beautifully.
