Hi,
I'm looking for a way to display total gigabytes used in a specific time period. I collect regular SNMP interface stats from a Juniper router als multiple HP switches (currently have in/out with 95th percentile running fine), but I figure there must be a way to add (or show in a new graph) the total amount of gigabytes used in the selected time period. I do need this as some customers are billed on 95th percentile basis, but others by gigabytes used. I searched the forums and found some topics on the issue, but no real answer as to it being possible (or not) to implement this in a graph.
I'd appreciate any help or hints you guys can provide!
Thanks,
Chris
Traffic graphs for total gigabytes
Moderators: Developers, Moderators
EDITED: Forget it, I was just blind as the outgoing traffic is shown as a third line and the incoming hides behind the first two lines. I'll just resize my graphs, THANKS, that's exactly what I needed!
Hi,
thanks for that advice, I just tried it. However, there is one difficulty I'm having with it, which is that it only shows the outgoing traffic in gigabytes. Is there any way for me to also get incoming values in there (or replace outgoing by the sum of outgoing and incoming, which would suffice for billing purposes)?
While I guess I could also neglect the incoming traffic, a sum of both incoming and outgoing would sure be the nicer solution.
Thanks,
Chris

Please post a screenshot. There is a standard template that shows totals for in/out seperated.
You may want to consider the documentation (see 1st link of my sig) to learn more about cacti options, e.g. ofr totalling stuff.
Then, there's an ISP Billing Script at http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t=19887
