I did get it to work by having it respond from snmp v2c and then selecting a non 64 bit graph. However, I did a factory reset and now I don't have such luck.

so you get the right value for the traffic the ports do ?
can you please give me a short instruction how to setup the switch in cacti ?

I simply created the device and selected snmp version 2 and then created a non 64bit counter graph from the port. But, once I preformed a factory reset on the switch I was not able to duplicate any sort of graphs.

Try the fix I did for my new linksys switch.

Basically edit the data source so it does not have the equals in the ifname, re run php -q cmd.php (device id) (graph id) and see if that works. I think the equals showed up on my netgear as well but cannot confirm.
