I have been trying to clean up errors in the log file and it seems that I cannot get rid of a device. It is a Cisco 2900 switch that is still on-line but I cannot get SNMP to function correctly so I went into Cacti and removed all data sources along with any graphs I had tried to see. But no matter what I try the errors still show up in the log file? Is there an poller file that has the device still in it and polls it every five minutes along with all of the other devices?

Thanx

Cacti is database driven, so thats where all the devices' info lives.

You sure you deleted all data sources? Cleared the poller cache? What keeps showing up in the cacti log for that device?

What cacti version?
