Graphs missing legend and axis description

Post by pgb205 »

I have interface graphs that are missing legend, graph description as well as axis labels. Basically the only thing you would see is the axis' themselves as well as data line. But no other information is displayed. What options do i need to change to fix this?

thanks

BTW I did add the following font path under settings
/usr/share/rrdtool/fonts/DejaVuSansMono-Roman.ttf
restarted httpd and mysqld under centos5.
Alternatively I've noticed that some people claim version 1.2.27 works ok but I'm not able to downgrade. When I try to compile it from source I get the following:

you have not installed libart-2.0, you can get it either from its original home on

thanks, phoenix. that's what I found on these forums myself. How would i downgrade to .27 of rrdtool without having to reinstall entire application. yum tell me that cacti is dependent on rrdtool .28 and will be uninstalled

thanks

EDIT: managed to compile rrdtool .27 after following instructoins from
http://oss.oetiker.ch/rrdtool/doc/rrdbuild.en.html
