[solved] Script Based Data Query Not Running

Post by fatboy15226 »

Hi all,

Hopefully I can get some help on this (I have searched the archives).

I have two data queries, that are near exact (off by one integer in the OID). One script query runs during polling, the other does not. The permissions on the files are identical (and appropriate). The device is up (I can see it doing a snmp get uptime in the log and the device runs one of the queries but not the other).

Both queries run just fine by hand (index, walk, get). Manually running cmd.php <id> <id> does not get the script to run. A verbose query looks fine. I have also tried adding the non-running query as the only query and it still won't run.

I am confident everything will work if poller just launches the other data query but I see no record in the logs of it ever trying or finding why it won't run.

Thoughts?

Thanks,
dsd

First guess: re-create the poller cache by running rebuild_poller_cache.php

I ended up comparing the raw exported xmls.

The non-running script had a blank rrd graph section due to me being an idiot and not checking the box for the source in the data query. DOH!!!

Thanks,
