can anyone write a quick gprint options tutorial?

I would like to use the new gprint options to have all my gprint output
use decimal places, but I am not a seasoned MRTG or RRDTOOL user.
For example:

Current: 100m

is displayed as:

Current: 0.01

I have searched through all the posts with specific examples that work,
but to no avail. Anyone up to the task?
