Under Plugin Management for PA2.1, see last scan never

Post by zkenton »

I am trying to install NPC 2.0, and just finished installing PA2.1 for cacti 0.8.7b. When i click on Plugin Management and go to the unstalled tab all I see is There are no Uninstalled Plugins, and underneath that is Last Scan: Never. Any idea how to get cacti to recognize this plugin or scan for available plugins? thanks

I see a lot of you had some troubles with Last Scan: Never within PA 2.1. Anyone find out what was wrong. I am able to install other plugins such as setting and thold, but they also do not show up in the plugins management list.

anyone know where i can download PA 2.0, to see if 2.1 is the problem child? I seem to be reading a lot of similar problems with 2.1

Till now there's only a handful of plugins (e.g. RRDcleaner, Manage, Aggregate) which do support the functionalities of PIA 2.x. IMO this will take a little bit until all the plugins developers will have the time to upgrade their projects. (As far as I'm concerned, the next major release of ReportIt will support PIA 1.x and 2.x too.)

The NPC 2.0 install guide requires PA 2.x, so im assuming it's just PA 2.1 that is problematic. I would downgrade if I could find PA 2.0
